from the presidents desk
Dear valued customers,
With great pride, and joy, I am announcing a new chapter in my professional life.
It's been an amazing journey of over 40 years in the industry, and over 20 years of serving as a retailer of custom window coverings.
Times do change,… and so do people! And it's time for me to pivot myself towards something new/old, while staying connected to the industry that I love so much. With that said, I have decided to wind down my retail “showroom” operation, and look forward to watch my daughter, Jaime Churchward grow her business.
I will continue with consulting and sales in a small capacity, and I am also back to my initial roots of installations, although much less, says my body.
You are in good hands with this dynamic, family duo.
Jaime has over 15 years experience, has rebranded the business, and will be operating entirely mobile.
It's a sign of the times.
I am confident that she will take her Shades & Shutters to a new and exciting level.
I have over 40 years experience, and have installed well over 300,000 windows of blinds, drapery and shutters (and counting), and look forward to many more in this exciting new journey.
